You may think this is about a bunch of hidebound old leftists 
reacting against your bold use of language. It's not. I'm not sure DD 
would even regard himself as a leftist, and he's certinaly neither 
hidebound nor old. Most of the rest of us thrive on vigorous 
language, and even agree with Abbie Hoffman that sacred cow makes the 
best hamburger.

No, it's about politics. You say things like "fetus killers," then 
claim you're prochoice. You refer to the "anti-Western left" and its 
alleged view of Saddam and AQ as noble fighters against imperialism 
and then deny you're not with Bush and his war. Etc. You may claim 
the latter, but your language and perseveration say otherwise.
