That particular quid pro quo has been explicitly raised,
tho in the form, in return for the U.S. doing the rest of
the world a favor in Liberia, the ROW will help the U.S.
get shot at in Iraq.  The logic of this is unfathomable,
but that's what has been said.

If you really belive, as I do, that this whole neocon PNAC exercise is a
form of cognitive dissonance, really a type of ideological psychosis, then
'sense' can be made out of things like Liberia.   Perhaps they may want
to drum up some African troops on the cheap for service in Iraq - who knows?
