The CIA estimates that 600,000 people were killed in Cambodia prior to the Khmer Rouge coming to power. The Yale genocide project estimated that number as 1.5 million. So how many people would you say were killed by the US, and how many would you say were killed by the Khmer Rouge? Do you disagree with the FOIA'd CIA report, do you think the CIA overestimated the amount of people the US killed in Cambodia? Or are you on the other side of the equation, agreeing with the Wall Street Journal editorial page that the Khmer Rouge killed 1 million...2 million...3 million...whatever sounds good. Don't go too high though, you don't want to go over their 1970's censuses...luckily the Khmer Rouge can't be accused of killing more than Cambodia's total population (or maybe they can).
