I trusted the Guardian to get the context right, and they did, as far as I can tell. That Wolfowitz can reach conclusions that follow logically from now-accepted assumptions of US forward-reaching militarism doesn't really change anything--it's the assumptions (basically, we'll do whatever we can get away with wherever we want to) that are the problem, yes?
