anyhoo, when Justin replies to an e-mail, the reply-to text (the text of his correspondent) is indented (doesn't use chevrons >) to indicate that it is reply-to text. When Justin replies in-line, his text is also indented using HTML mark up.
i opened an old yahoo account to see what the problem was, too. justin's mail doesn't look like it's coming from his Outhouse client. usually, webmail accounts identify the client in the X-Mailer header. it looks like Justin will have to check his settings every time, just to be sure. jeff, there's an option at the top left of the compose mail window, IIRC.
'course, you can ditch yahoo and hotmail for webmail providers that are a little cleaner. myrealbox.com and softhome.net are two that I've used. neither one use ads and they're speedier than yahoo! and hotmail.
