i don't know if you're joking or not, but it's not the pope that's stopping the spam, it is the obscurity of the domain and/or the freshness of the address. i get bucket loads of spam from china in chinese, which nobody has any more reason to believe i can read than the pope wants viagra. spammers are hardly that discriminating.
