"Did CGE have carnal knowledge of a labrador retriever?"

Heh. Though scurrilous, given CGE has written often for Counterpunch where innuendo and what Paul Ricoeur calls, "the hermeneutics of suspicion, " is the first rule in the journalistic guidebook, funny. (And, did the Kinsey Report on the Human male say that a third of mid-Western males in the 40's had carnal knowledge with farm animals? This http://www.leaderu.com/jhs/reisman.html "Kinsey and the Homosexual Revolution.") rightist loon would say that Dr. Kinsey had extensive experience with Rover and Clarabelle The Cow.)

Seriously, the 9-11 allegations found in far right and loony left web fora, are, in the main, as lacking in any knowledge of how the national security bureaucracies work and threat assessments are made, it is no wonder that Larry Bensky on Pacifica station KPFA on Berkeley, cuts off questions on this. All his years of recommending, on air, that people read books such as Robert Gates CIA autobio or Sy Hersh on Kissinger (or when I saw Robert Scheer recommend @ UCSC talk that we read books by Nixon. Oh, the howls of outrage!), come to naught before the set that takes the more than evident extreme fascistoid tendencies of Dubya as eo ipso proof of every imaginable crime and intention. How many times in radical, progressive and liberal chatrooms and lists ihas it been asserted that the elections of 2004 will be called off and martial law declared? Just as stupid (and I know too much about Truman, [and Humphhrey authored Communist Control Act of 1950, that would have imprisoned thousands] Nixon and Reagan era plans drawn up by NSC and FBI for preventative detention of "radicals and subversives" on Jaye Edgar's Rabble Rouser Indexes, to not be a bit paranoid, (neither was Rep. McKinney when she invited to testify to a congressional hearing, Marilyn Buck, Laura Whitehorn and Susan Rosenberg of the Weather Underground. http://www.truthout.org/0308.MC.CivRts.Pt4.htm Never mind the adventurism of the Weather Underground, gave the ammunition Nixon needed to get elected to end "chaos in the streets" as the smarter contributors to, "Weatherman, " an anthology edited by Harold Jacobs for Ramparts Press in 1970, said ... )

but, that kind of stuff belongs more on the hard right fringes like this, http://www.mt.net/~watcher/camp79.html http://www.apfn.org/apfn/camps.htm or our precinccts, apparently, http://www.mumia.org/wwwboard/messages/2038.html
