This is it. I was fascinated by the part on the GI coffee houses. Some of the most wonderful people I met in the '60s (civilian and military) were in that movement. And incidentally, while I was never a great admirer of Jane Fonda, contributions from her kept some friends of mine running a coffehouse in Oakland from starving.
