It is the pet project of Vladimir Sokhomlin (see my post, sleuthing) to host this forum. He was scary enough for someone to hire two Russian police officers to beat him to death. They were paid $1200.
He was fighting US and NATO propaganda--anti-Russian propaganda in general--hosting various sites exposing US/NATO lies.
IS the US behind his death perhaps? US intelligence was hot on Venik's (aeronautics.ru) trail, closing down his US hosted sites by pressuring his ISPs.
