Faux thrift stores, like Urban Outfitters, will sell you a pair of fake-faded "vintage" (but not really) jeans for $85. The jeans have fake "worn" areas and creases dyed into them, to make them look like you bought them at a thrift store. There are thousands of examples just as nauseating.
