On the other hand you can make an argument that the most effective disguise for someone who is involved in anti-state activity is in an SUV with a couple of ratty looking US flags attached to the antennae and a 'Proud to be American' poster affixed to a couple of windows. Also, look for a US flag flying from the front porch of their house or apt entry.
