why don't you try having a conversation with what i've said. if you have a rant, start a new thread.

the problem with gentrication, and probably why people are annoyed with it, is that it goes and hand in hand with racist banking practices and drives the poor and people of color from their homes. duh. no one minds cleaning up a neighborhood. what people mind is that our tax policy, tax distribution policy, banking and fiscal policies drive resources out of the hands of the poor and into the people who already have plenty of wealth to invest.
