As Rob Schaap says, democratic socialism is a redundancy.

When I was living in the USA, I used to drive around with a Wobbly bumper sticker on my car which proclaimed the most communist of all slogans: "Labor is entitled to all it creates." Nobody ever gave me a hassle about it though. In fact, most thought it just made sense i.e. it wasn't socialist at all.

If I had had a sticker proclaiming e.g.: "Democratic socialism is the thing", I would have encountered lots of opposition from people who would think that meant that I supported Stalin killing his mother with that chair.

===== ***************************************************************** "the Council Republic is not the culmination of everything, and even less does it stand for the most perfect form in which humans can live together. However the Council Republic is a prerequisite for the reconstruction of culture, because it makes possible the liquidation of the state,. It must be the task of the revolutionary of today to work for the Council system and the Council Republic". (Der Ziegelbrenner)
