In other words, the DLC reinvented as a quasi-mass movement?
Nathan talks up Dean's pro-labor rhetoric, but if he doesn't owe anyone anything, then how could labor trust him? Politics is always a little bit about empty signifiers, but this one is emptier and signifies less than the usual.
