Yeah, I think the message is too complicated for a mass demo approach, which needs simple slogans. Even the organizers can't agree on what strategy to advocate - US out, UN in? Just US out? And what about the Bush scheming beyond Iraq? Does that belong on the agenda too? I'd say so, of course, but that too is hard ot get on a placard.
The other day Liza wondered aloud why there are never mass demos for things with potential for huge popular support, e.g. national health insurance? That's a good question.
