A large portion of the American population is against the war and occupation, so why are we having these rallies which make it look like very few people oppose the war?

Thanks to the magic of C-SPAN, I watched the tape of today's ANSWER rally. Granted, I was flipping channels between ESPN College Football Gameday and VH1 "The 80s Strike Back," but I caught enough of the rally to note that: 1) very few people attended the rally, even compared to ANSWER protests in the past; and 2) the speakers list was dominated by ANSWER functionaries and affiliated dupes, I mean, supporters.

There is breaking news tonight that somebody fired eight rockets into the Baghdad hotel that Wolfowitz is staying in. It should be pretty clear by now that the war/occupation isn't going well. So how do we turn

American dissatisfaction with the war into something that tilts in our favor?
