How would that help, Wojtek? If we increased the absentee count from 1% to 15%, it still doesn't help us audit the election. All we can audit is the absentee ballots -- which are probably counted correctly in the first place.
This would only help if we got 100% to vote by absentee ballots. But surely that's impossible. It's by far easier to organize against against installing the electronic systems where already you have inertia and the money saved by not purchasing them on your side, so that many officials want to buy your arguments.
