I think we should recognize a new law of nature, to be called "X's Law." 
(I would modestly offer my own name for X, but it could also be called 
"Judge Moore's Law.") This law would be as follows: "Every poll 
conducted in the United States on a religious question returns 
stomach-turning results."

(Actually, I think we're lucky it was only 77%.)
