Interestingly, many Jews became Catholic after WWII.

   Of the millions before WWII, there were thousands of Polish Jews after 
the war. Cf., "Shoah, " directed by J.P.Sartre friend, Claude Lanzmann.

   In '68, Mieczyslaw Moczar led an anti-semitic purge of the PUWP and 
other institutions.

 Immediately following this was a nation-wide anti-Jewish purge, removing 
Jews from their jobs in the government, universities, and many other 
fields. This purge was directed by the minister of the interior, and head 
of the security police, Mieczyslaw Moczar.
