Press ) , a founder of of one of the two main Communist parties that merged under guidance from the Comintern to form the CPUSA, was treated so shabbily by the CPUSA, that by the post WWII period he, in the pgs. of the Antioch Review, questioned directly whether the CPUSA s/b considered left at all, and not the expression of a crystallization of a new class bureaucratic state bourgeoisie.
