I have not seen the commercial, and I am trying to imagine which part of the "Requiem" they possibly could have used. The "Kyrie" is too complex, the "Tuba mirum" too laid-back, the "Lacrimosa" completely out-of-place. Perhaps the "Dies irae" would fit in a hectic setting. Though I agree: in this context, it's sacrilege.
