Good point. The two sound very similar, and put major emphasis, on trade. Nader's prudishness aside, both have a desire to dodge most social issues. But whereas Nader makes an anti-corporate pitch, Perot wanted to run the government like a corporation. Nader never breaks 5%, but Perot did it twice. What does that say about Nader's anti-corporate message and its reception? Of course, Perot's place in the '92 debates surely was a boon Nader never had, but that doesn't fully explain why Nader's showing is always so paltry compared to Perot.
