Noone on this list ever said that abortion means nothing at all. The rough consensus is that the rights of existing human beings shouldn't be overridden by those of potential human beings, who are still biologically dependent on those existing humans. Privileging PHBs over EHBs has frightful political consequences, best left to the lurid imagination of sci-fi authors.
