And while you've been posting, groups like Moveon.org and Dean have been creating an army. What surprises me is how few debates I've seen on the left on how to influence those armies, largely because they disdain their immediate work of organizing in the Democratic Party. Which means those armies continue to grow beyond the influence of those leftists.

It's an odd cycle of almost purposeful work by many on the left to keep themselves isolated even as the largest mass mobilizations of grassroots action is occuring all around them.
