1). The FBI had an informant inside the Chicago BPP file fake reports of an illegal gun stash,
2). The FBI fed that information to Illinois state officials,
3). Illinois state officials had the Cook County Sheriff stage a raid.
4). The raid included heavily armed Chicago Police.

I'd always assumed he was shot under orders from above, but the Cook County attorney? What's the evidence that he was the source? Why not J Edgar or RMN himself?
