"The first idea floated was for Canadians to rush down
and rescue Americans who were unhappy with George W.
Bush by marrying them and bringing them home to
mother.

Now, Vermonters have another idea: cut out the
nuptials and just make the Green Mountain state the
11th province of Canada.

With Bush in Canada for two days, a group of
disgruntled Vermont citizens have taken to the
Internet (VermontCanada.org) to sell the idea of
having their state join the Canadian federation."
