Absolutely. Thinking like a real capitalist. Just a very short step from 
this to "Modest Proposal" in which Swift advocates the selling of irish 
babies for meat, because theyr'e not likely to live long anyway. Many 
took him seriously. Swift was being ironic. Summers was not.
