Oh just when I thought it was safe to sign off for the year. Sorry to go over quota, but I'll more than make up for it in the following days of rest and relaxation. Let me point out , Mikie, that aside from the sensationalist headline, the article reads like modern journalism, attributing the views to named sources. More than a few people at Reuters, BBC, NY Times, etc., could learn from that. OTOH, I agree that Mehr stuff needs to be looked at very closely.

They try to balance alternative theories, such as Saddam holdouts and foreign Al Qaeda, but this article doesn't address the issue of Shia-on-Shia violence. Therefore, it is of limited use, as is all journalism, news, sources of information. However, don't try to make glibness a watertight argument. Do you really believe that the only thing the Israeli zio-national security state wants is peace within its US-subsidized, consumerist, post-modern Hebrew kingdom, and that it doesn't interfere in the affairs of other countries? Its very existence is an interference. It wants a broken up Iraq and will take very high stakes actions to get that, as it already repeatedly shown. Mossad operations in Iraq are quite likely already a part of the post-Saddam mess in Iraq.

What's next Mikie, urls and clips from the Israeli news agencies?
