Given your enthusiasm for pre-Iowa Dean, I'm surprised you see no Nader effect on the DP. Wasn't Dean's early success pretty much a result of Nader folks swallowing the poison pill and trying again to work with the DP? It sure has been here in Oregon.

As for Kerry, how many levels are there to describe how revolting -- and, dare I say it, unelectable -- he is?

But, notwithstanding all that, I'm also surprised you put so much stock in ADA Senatorial scores. It's quite easy to cast a bunch of after-the-fact ADA votes in that outdated chamber, where liberalism hasn't held an upper hand since 1944. Meanwhile, do you really think Kerry's gubernatorial record in Vermont would have been to the left of Dean's? I don't, despite Dean's atrocious centrism. And Dean is honest in a way Kerry literally has no clue about. That honesty was the only basis for hope in him. he's obviously renounced it now.

I simply will not cast a ballot for Kerry. Sorry. This is a way-too-old game. Why facilitate further DP shenanigans? So we can run Hillary in 2008?
