Who wants to put money on this Kerry rumor being a planted leak? Who thinks that the Republicans paid off Drudge?
My money is on the latter, based on the Bush regime's penchant for manipulating news to deflect attention from unfavorable news. In fact, you could almost predict that something big was going to break this week. The ricin thing fizzled. The gay marriage thing isn't hot enough yet. The cancellations of plane flights to the U.S. aren't generating the news like they did back in December. And Bush's recent trips to states that have just held Democratic primaries have been exposed as the obvious campaign trips that they are.
Is this Kerry rumor a February surprise? What's next? Osama captured next week?
