Carrol's thinking is about as utopian as it gets. It smacks of ignorance about the environmental degradation that happened under the various socialist regimes, and it basically condemns the world to enviromental catastrophe since we have to wait until the grande soiree of socialist revolution to do anything.
So, all you environmentalists, stop wasting your time and gather ye behind the proper diad.
