Foreign investment in Russia up 50 pct in 2003
Foreign investments in Russia in 2003 totaled almost $29.7 billion, showing 50.1% growth on 2002, the State Statistics Committee reported on Thursday.
Foreign direct investment in Russia amounted to $6.781 billion or 22.8% of the total, up 69.4% from 2002. Portfolio foreign investment in Russia in 2003 amounted to $401 million or 1.4% of total investment, which was 15.1% lower than in 2002. //Interfax
