One's "neighbours" are the most readily available target for prejudice, wouldn't you say? What about (e.g.) the many, still-extant, non-religious hatreds among contemporary white ethnicities, whether in Europe itself or its diasporic communities around the world? In Europe these resulted in mass murder in WW2 and many more besides, stretching back to the early modern era and beyond.

Or there is the case of the Japanese Empire's genocidal policies in Asia empire, pre-1945.

The afore-mentioned intra-European bigotries only need/ed a marker like language. As I just said to Chris, perhaps we need a word like "culturism" or "ethnicism", but we don't have such a word as yet.
