Hope is very nice. That and $3.75 will buy you a cup of cappuccino. What would you say to a self-styled leftist who "hoped" for socialism, and didn't do anything about it? Obviously Ketty will nor promote socialism. No one says that he will, except maybe the looniest part of the GOP. But if he's important enough to hope for his victory, he's important enough to volunteer for

. . . . if you can. I signed up for Illinois for Kerry on line (there is no phone number on the website), and no one has called me. A liberal Democrat friend and Kerry supporter says that he not very grass-rootsy, is he? He probably just wants money. Well, I'll give him money. But I will volunteer if he will let me, and you should too.
