Those in the New Haven area might be interested in the premier of a 
new piece of mine-a setting of the Martin Espada's Alabanza: In 
Praise of Local 100 : for the 43 members of Hotel Employees and 
Restaurant Employees Local 100, working at the Windows on the World 
restaurant, who lost their lives in the attack on the World Trade 
Center.

The concert will be on Thursday night at Sprague Hall on the Yale 
Campus at 8 PM.  It will be played the Blue Elm Trio-a string trio, 
and sung by Richard Lalli, a superb baritone.

The other pieces on the program are the Beethoven D major string trio 
and the Brahms G major Sextet-a warhorse of the chamber music 
literature which is sure to be an excellent performance.

Obviously, this is not for everyone. A few here might appreciate the 
music and/or the sensibility which informs it.
