Saddam needs a lawyer. He is entitled to a lawyer. What I really want to see is a couple hard core conservative rule of law stiffs offering to represent him to uphold the rule of law. Not sure the state of international law is such that it could happen but....

Failing that as Justin says, a bad lawyer is always better than no lawyer. Without further commentary on Ramsey Clarke's capabilities, he might be a bad lawyer in this situation just because he is such a lightning rod.
