I could relate more than a few personal stories and the experiences of others I know from ex-CPUSA'ers, other ex-maoists and ex-Trots, Pacifica Radio staffers, and others, some who have been through pretty deep depressions, drug and alcohol addictions, in their journey out of the the kwazier sectors of the AmeriKKKan Left (and the red and pink diapers babies had alot of the same shit to deal w/ iin their family tree), to back up what my friend and comarde Thomas says about the treatment of others as objects by supposed comrades, all excused in the name of higher motives.

For a great novel based on the experiences of Revolutionary Union, the H.Bruce Franklin grouop at Stanford (his books on MIA and Vietnam War are great but, editing, "The Essential Stalin, " in the early 70's for Doubleday/Anchor, w/ a truly wretched introduction, jeesh), see, "The Bad Communist, " by Max Crawford, published in '78. Michael Pugliese, Naw I ain't gonna work on Lenin's Collective Farm No More...
