The #'ers from HRW and the Truth Commission in the 90's (forget the exact name, they published an extensive report, I could run up a floor and find here at the SFPL) say from the time of the couop against Arbenz in the mid-fifties to the early nineties the #ers were around 200K killed by the military, aznd paramilitaries.
Allan Nairn, in The Progressive, had a great story in the mid 80's about the contribution of Control Data Corp. (known as a , "progressive, " company!) based in Minnesota (I toured the corp. HQ, once as a kid w/ my Dad when he worked for them for a few yrs.) to facilitating the genocide via their sale to the Guatemalan military intelligence of a data base manager program.
