Just wait a minute, sir. You are actually asking me to talk with these people. They are not lyrical enough to appreciate the qualities of Mao, Kim or [put in your fav despot ideologue here]. Besides, I might be called on to defend my cherished theories-both those nurtured for many years, as well as those that occured to me in a flash of inspiration five minutes ago-against the narrow empiricism of these people. Why should I go out there amongst them, when I can surround myself with comrades with whom to commiserate, people who understand me for the genius manque' that I am...people who are not brainwashed like THEY are. Those people dont understand the negation of the negation, they dont even understand the negation; hell, they might ask me to come up with something positive and then where would I be? Why do you want to disturb this sense of community that the American Left has worked so hard for? I like it out here in this "valley of dying [dead?] stars". And now you want me to vote? Doesn't anybody read R. Palme Dutt anymore for christ sakes? Dont they???? Please someone, get this guy out of here....please for god's sake, isn't there a demonstration or meeting where I can go and forget about all of this?
