In response to R comments below:

[1] Michael Moore had done more than Cosby to highlight the plight and effects of social/political/economic policies visited upon African American that Cosby has.

Examples:

Roger & Me -

* Moore illustrates the devestation that closing the GM plant

had on a Black man who was shot by a white cop.

* A black single mother getting evicted from her home.

* The building of more prison to warehouse more Blacks.

Bowling for Columbine -

* A Brief History of the United States.

Moore ties the history of slavery to the invention of the

revolver.

* Fear as presented by the media as in the "Fear of the Black Man".

F-911 -

* The struggle of the Black Causus to disavow Bush's election

* The interracial working class family of Flint that lost

their son in Iraq.

And Moore is a WORKING CLASS WHITE GUY who happens to be rich. Cosby

on the other hand is a just a liberal buppie.

[2] Cosby is a liberal. Understand what that means and you'll understand why you are confused about his "generosity". Generousity is a technique used by the wealthy to avoid paying taxes. In fact generosity can be quite a tax deduction (aka: tax expenditure).

[3] You say that "you don't get where he is in life if you don't have your feet on the ground". To make such a comment means you have very little life experience outside of your own narrow interest. I've seen exploitation and been exploited and served to the system of injustice my friend. Take a look at the many political prisoners in this country as well as people who've faced injustice and perhaps you'll start to draw a different conclusion.

WB.
