Jul 2 2004 2:54PM Russian oil exports outside CIS up 22% in H1 MOSCOW. July 2 (Interfax) - Russian oil exports beyond the CIS grew 22% year-on-year to 88.878 million tonnes or 3.56 million barrels a day in January-June.
The Industry and Energy Ministry said exports of Russian crude via the Transneft pipeline system came to 86.678 million tonnes and exports outside Transneft to 2.2 million tonnes in the six months.
Exports of Russian crude via the Transneft pipeline were 14.84 million tonnes and exports ourside Transneft were 670,600 in June.
Transneft carried 24.564 million tonnes to the port of Novorossiisk, including transit, in the six months and 4.431 million tonnes in June alone; 2.292 million tonnes (400,600 tonnes) to Tuapse; 4.316 million tonnes (803,700 tonnes) to Odessa; 4.282 million tonnes (501,300 tonnes) to Butinge; 19.92 million tonnes (3.502 million tonnes) to Primorsk; and 801,000 tonnes to the Yuzhny or Southern terminal.
The Yukos oil company shipped 18.04 million tonnes of crude via Transneft in the six months and 2.97 million tonnes in June; Lukoil shipped 16.65 million tonnes (2.81 million tonnes); Surgutneftegas 9.87 million tonnes (1.48 million tonnes); Tyumen Oil Company 10.61 million tonnes (1.48 million tonnes); Sidanco 4.12 million tonnes (714,000 tonnes); and Sibneft 6.48 million tonnes (1.16 million tonnes in June).
Oil producers that are not part of vertically integrated companies exported 4.45 million tonnes via Transneft in the six months and 712,000 tonnes in June.
Transit of Kazakh oil came to 8.566 million tonnes in the six months and 1.424 million tonnes in June, and transit of Azerbaijani oil to 1.415 tonnes (216,700 tonnes).
Russia exported 19.066 million tonnes of crude to CIS countries in the six months, compared with 18.74 million tonnes in the same period of last year.
