A couple of points:

1. Seems to me the writer of "This is WAR, sons!" is expressing similar sentiments to Anonymous Mike, except for

2. Anonymous Mike's point -- as gleaned from the various reports -- that Muslim terrorism or Muslim insurgency, as he puts it, is not, in the first place, about the US as such as about US policies. Which might explain the seeming anomaly of no, other than the would-be shoe bomber, incidents within the US, but as is clear from US State's report, there has been an increased number of incidents elsewhere, almost all outside Euro-America.

Although Anonymous Mike seems to be a bit conflicted about this, since he also supports Huntington's clash of civilisations argument.
