John Kerry leads George W. Bush among likely voters in Michigan. In a survey conducted July 6-8, Kerry is at 50%, Bush is at 43%, and Ralph Nader is at 2%. Without Nader on the ballot, it is Kerry 51% and Bush 43%.

In a switch from the other battleground states ARG has polled, Kerry is running just 2 percentage behind Bush among men in Michigan.

Kerry leads Bush 49% to 42% in New Mexico, with 3% for Nader in a survey of likely voters conducted July 6-8. Without Nader on the ballot, Kerry leads Bush 51% to 43%.

Kerry has increased his support among Democrats while his unfavorable rating among Republicans is up from April.
