haven't seen the film yet but find the various critiques, and supports , interesting enough to almost "see" what all are talking about...he is a very talented film maker who practices exactly what major, established media and politics do: manipulate facts, people, situations to give a view of what's going on that is hardly what's really going on,... but, he, thankfully, does the manipulating and occasional distorting from a perspective much farther left than anything else in major consumption...

so, what's wrong with that? nothing, if we accept it for what it is...true, many on the left are losers who can out-do liberals or the democratic party when it comes to snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, but all criticism shouldn't be snidely dismissed for that reason, nor people accused of being sore losers because he didn't make the film "they" would have made...

his film seems easily the most smashing "anybody but bush" political statement made, and the woeful democrats might be smart to dump the dreadful kerry, and run this film for president...

that being said, in not mentioning the elephant in the living room, moore is simply doing what all of the establishment and most of the left does all the time, in order to, if not survive, at least make more money...

but i wouldn't be shocked if he eventually made a film about the elephant - surprised, but not shocked - but in the meantime, he has done more to make bush look like less, than the dreadful democrats have done, and in the process maybe opened some doors for discussion and debate with people who are not members of the choir...

but among the choir, it is especially shameful that the elephant in the living room still doesn't seem to smell badly enough for them to notice, in anything other than a critical style that really does nothing more than emulate a kind of liberal civli rights program...
