"Well what the hell do you think it involves, other than a lot of work and rejection?"

if that's all it involves, then it's no wonder that nobody but masochistic types would get involved...

seriously, is that a commercial? come do this , which involves a lot of work and rejection...um...is there an upside? if not, why bother?

unless, of course, one is driven by guilt, repression, religious fervor to atone, and other things often criticized around here - justifiably - as holding back political progress...

you can't have this both ways, unless you carry dualism to extremes...if this(political organizing) is only difficult and hard work, without an upside, why should anyone do it? we already suffer that shit - most of us - trying to make a living, and this calls for volunteers...only the professional, affluent and guilt ridden class can possibly get involved...which equals... present failure...
