Hmmm. This seems like that scene from "Aliens" in the dropship:

Dennis: Hey, how many rounds you fired?

Todd: Uh, thousands . . . . Simulated.

Dennis: How many _actual_ rounds?

Todd: Uhhhh . . . . None.

Someone: Aw, man . . . .

PS: Just a minor aside, in some of the better role-playing games, you can get a better abstract idea of what a given gun can do to a body than official stats of penetration, stopping power, etc. ie "Ok, you're hit in the arm . . . ." <rolls some dice> "Your arm's shattered and useless from the one shot, and you find yourself sitting on your ass in shock."
