What I am saying, I expressed clearly enough:
"You have not responded or even acknowledged the offense you have caused by using this virtual conversation to advertise your blog, or by acting as spy/judge of political performance on this list."
This listserve is not "the public", it is a group of people who voluntarily converse in order to explore certain political, economic, cultural issues. Apparently, to you, it is a forum to be used for your own purposes, with no thought other than that of winning and proving yourself right.
People do not like to be used. They are rightfully suspicious of those who judge whether their actions are politically satisfactoryt. What the hell do you know about the people on this list, how they live, how they act politically? The only argument I remember the ABB people making is that voting takes a few minutes and that getting Bush out was a good idea. They did not pretend to be supporting the demos any further than that. They did not disagree that political organization above/beyond a November vote was important. So, your "uncovering" the fact that the ABB crowd is not a big demo donor proved nothing.
You are acting rudely and inconsiderately. Whether I agree with you politically or not, your actions tell me that you are not a person to be trusted. And that winds up being a political problem inasmuch as people must trust you to accept your leadership or even your testimony.
