the story may be complete BS. but things have changed a lot since the days of nixon and kennedy regarding how the press treats presidential privacy. take a look at the details about clinton's sex life that were aired everywhere. JFK had wild bill beat hollow in this dept. today's corp media don't hesitate to use material against a candidate they're told to attack. usually, they don't say much about republican peccadillos.
the issue of leaks is a good one. this white house had a reputation for being leak proof. but that's crumbling. i don't think we'd be reading and seeing as much news critical of the shrub group if it didn't have highly placed enemies, able to sway corp policies. people in high places appear to be aware that the shrub group is screwing the US, if they care. what the shrub group is doing, among other things, is destroying the world's major market for consumer goods. buying junk to show you're patriotic doesn't get it when people have no jobs; military families are especially hurt with one or two bread winners in iraq.
we can only hope the story is accurate.
