What do you really think they do that we don't have an inkling of? Most important stuff goes on more or less in the open. We know pretty much how the world works - who, in Margaret Atweood's definition of politics, does what to whom and gets away with it. Who fucking cares what a bunch of paunchy elites do on retreat, aside from the gossip value (which I admit is potentially quite high - wouldn't you want to see that Princeton tiger tattooed on George Shultz's ass?). But political value? Yawn.
