Yoshie, however, has consistently used ad hominem arguments against her opponents in these debates. She suggests that they are reactionaries, or that they're more rightwing than the current crowd in the WH, or says that they are people who don't actually _do_ anything to support a left social movement, hence they have crappy politics. In general, she tends to like to paint you as subscribing to something not so nice in order to avoid answering your argument or to poison the wells.
That kind of talk is far more destructive than mere name calling which is not necessarily ad hominem.
